3. Install the Barrel Nut and Bolt
Insert Barrel Nut: Apply a small amount of wood glue to the dowel hole if you want additional security, then insert the barrel nut into the dowel hole. Tighten and Secure: Once the bolt starts threading smoothly, continue tightening until the two pieces of wood are securely joined. Be cautious not to overtighten, as this can damage the threads or the wood.
