Fasto Factory Obtains IATF 16949:2016 Certification for Screw Manufacturing & Coating

We are happy to say that Fastos manufacturing facility has been given the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system certificate by Quality Austria Certification GmbH.

The certificate is for the manufacturing and coating of screws. It means we follow the IATF 16949:2016 rules, except for product design activities. This shows that Fastos production and surface treatment workflows meet the high quality standards of the automotive supply chain.

IATF 16949 is a deal in the automotive industry. It is the standard for quality management. The standard has rules for preventing defects reducing variations controlling waste and keeping processes consistent. Getting this certificate is a step for Fasto. It shows we are committed to giving OEMs and tier suppliers reliable fastener solutions.

Our factory was audited by Quality Austria. They checked all our core processes, including checking materials, machining, heat treatment, surface coating, testing finished products and managing traceability. We fixed all the issues they found so we met IATFs criteria. 

For our customers this is good news. It means we have production systems that can meet the specs required for automotive fasteners. We keep track of all our batches we always look for ways to improve. We have strong quality control to minimize risks.
